Bought this because my old hard drive was acting up. So I bought this Sdd in its place. What a difference between the old and new. Superior in many ways. I looked up a video on YouTube to see how to replace it on my Asus all in one. It was easier than I thought. Very pleased with my purchase.

I had tried another SSD which caused my pc to run into a problem (BSOD). I decided that I would try a different SSD and opted for this one from Crucial. I ran Macrium Reflect to clone the HDD currently installed., sadly this did not work as there were several issues with windows. I did a new installation using a windows 10 ISO installation disk, I now have a very quick boot time, less than 20 seconds, where previously it could take anywhere up to a minute to boot to windows. I am absolutely delighted with this SSD. I can thoroughly recommend it to anyone suffering from slow data access with an HDD.

Brought while on sale. So this is a good price for a 1TB SSD. No real negative to point out. Work as expected.

Ive been a loyal Micron PC/Crucial Technologies customer since the late 1990s. Incredibly high quality, brilliant engineering and no lapse QC when manufacturing was outsourced from Idaho to other countries. The nuclear weapons lab I used to work for was also exclusively Micron for their PCs and many components. That says something. Yeah, they did have a few Apples but...Micron makes SSDs and RAM for Apples too!
