Mia moglie si lamentava spesso del vecchio PC (un Acer Aspire E1-522, con processore AMD Quad-core A4-5000, da 1,5GHz e 4GB DDR3 RAM Memory). Soprattutto con lo smartworking avevamo bisogno di un PC affidabile e stavamo iniziando a pensare di cambiarlo. Un collega mi ha detto di provare a cambiare lhard disk (750GB HDD) con uno SSD ed effettivamente il PC è rinato. Le operazioni vengono svolte velocemente, sembra un altro PC. Linstallazione nel PC richiede un minimo di manualità, e la reinstallazione del sistema operativo e dei vari programmi un p di tempo, ma ne vale la pena. Molto soddisfatto dellacquisto, a distanza di mesi non si è presentato nessun problema.

The installation was a breeze. Make sure to turn off fire vault on a Mac drive before you copy. Plan on a few hours but then it’s a piece of cake. Love the new speed!!

Come scritto sul titolo, sono il top in rapporto qualità/prezzo che potete trovare fra i dischi sata, l’unica pecca che ho trovato è il software crucial, fa abbastanza schifo, samsung è parecchio avanti in quanto a software, ma non vi serve, potete tranquillamente farne a meno

I put this drive into a vantec external enclosure and I am running it through a USB 3.1 port. I am using the drive for my adobe photoshop lightroom catalogue and I am editing photos right off the external drive. My photos are RAW 35 megapixels so drive speed is important for quick editing. The Crucial mx500 is editing photos through lightroom just as quickly as my laptops internal m.2 drive edits them. The transfer speeds are very quick and I love that I can store my catalogue on an external drive and move it back and forth between my laptop and desktop. I highly recommend this drive and I am glad that I bought it.

Love the drive. It is a lot faster then I expected.

The hard drive worked for three months and then could not be recognized by my computer. I had the squaretrade warranty and plan to send it back.

I installed it on a Lenovo Z50-70 laptop and I was able to feel and see the difference in speed right away. Not sure if maybe my original HDD non SSD was just getting slower and slower, but it is definitely for the price the best choice I could make. For now no problems, I used Acronis which comes with the drive to clone my original HDD and had no problems at all I just used the automatic settings cloning and it took less than 45 minutes to clone it.
