After six months light use in a secondary laptop (web browsing / vacation pictures) it started throwing read/write errors. Firmware upgrade and reformatting did not help. Trying to obtain warranty service from Crucial/Micron is difficult. Their website does not recognize the product. Calls to the US/Canada support number was answered from a call centre on the other end of the world, and all help it could provide was to instruct me to send an email. I sent the email to the address provided and I am still waiting for a reply. The service and warranty match the quality of the product.
