> 3 dayI picked this up for less than $60 US, which is great for a TB of Gen 4 NVMe SSD storage. The only reason I cant give it 5 stars is the same reason it is so cheap it is cacheless. Since there is no DRAM cache on the drive it utilizes part of your system ram as a cache which can eat up performance, especially if you end up installing several of them. But if you arent maxxing out your RAM on a regular basis, this is a great option for very fast cost effective storage.

Greater than one weekI ordered 2 of these. At first, I had an issue where both of these would post to the ASRocks motherboards logo screen, but not allow me to enter the ASRocks motherboards bios on the below-mentioned motherboard. Ive tried the upper and lower NVME location on this motherboard with no luck, but I also have a 256GB NVME drive on hand from another manufacturer that worked fine in both upper and lower locations on the below-mentioned motherboard. ASRock B365M PRO4 LGA1151/ Intel B365/ DDR4/ Quad CrossFireX/ SATA3&USB3.1/ M.2/ A&GbE/ MicroATX Motherboard I could not get these working in the Asrock motherboard listed above, but they both work perfectly in an AMD ASUS ROG B550 motherboard. I speed-tested these in the ASUS motherboard and the specs were very close to the advertised speeds. 5000/MBS reads and 4300-4800/MBS writes. I am happy with this purchase, but not so happy with the ASRock motherboard compatibility issues.

> 3 dayTengo aqui instalado varios programas de adobe, 3d y el windows, el pc va rápido y no se pega, ojala mi Internet fuera asi, el unico pero es que la memoria es de 930 GB y restándole lo que pesa windows tienes como 890 GB para ti, solo dire que se necesita ese 1TB en vez de solo 930 GB.

> 3 dayI’ve been running a regular PCIe Gen3 NVME SSD 2TB in my MacBook Pro for about 4 years now. Wasn’t sure if this PCIe Gen4 would work or not. Worked just fine with the current adapter I was using on the motherboard. The only way to make the OS installer recognize the drive is to make a bootable USB with your OS of choice. You cannot do it through recovery mode or try to restore the image onto the new SSD. Read/Write was at 1,300/1,400. Not horrible but I don’t do anything extreme with this thing. Just wanted more storage as I ran out of my 2TB. While I was in there I replaced my battery and also cleaned out my fan and heat sink and also re-pasted my CPU with better thermal paste because MacBook’s are known to have horrible thermal paste applications from the factory. Just that alone lowered my temps by almost 10 degrees Celsius. Overall, I’m really happy I got this to work. You can either make a bootable USB with DiskMaker Pro or use Apple’s terminal method which is what I used since DiskMaker Pro is very finicky. Just search for it and there will be clear instruction on Apple’s own website.

> 3 dayThis is a great NVMe card. I built an external memory card. I bought a case. I just plugged the NVMe card into the slot, plugged it in to MacBook Pro and use it on Windows. Gen 3 was $22 less, so i bought Gen 4. The speed is amazing for backing up photos and videos!
