If you bought a laptop with less storage, this m.2 SSD will be an excellent upgrade. I bought the 1TB version to add into a new Dell Inspiron 16 Plus. This particular laptop came with a 1TB storage for the operating system, but has an additional slot for a m.2 2230 form factor. PLEASE NOT that 2230 slot is limited by the size of the SSD and may not have enough room to install a 2280 (which this Crucial is). For the Dell Inspiron 16 Plus, I was able to still install the 2280 into the 2230 slot, at an angle, held down by tape. It sits across the WiFi module, but it does still work. Im able to still get the full speeds of this card.

I bought this SSD for a gaming build and couldn’t be happier. Reliable and fast. If you can afford it go with 2 TB. I am disappointed there is no standoff for mounting. I have not called tech support so I can not speak to that. Easy to install compared to Hard Disk Drive. I always recommend NVME like this over HDD.

Bought to replace the 256G SSD my PC came with, this 1Tb SSD was an Amazon Summer Sale bargain. It is significantly faster than the drive it replaced, but since my PC only has PCIe 3.0 it is the limiting factor on speed and I dont see the maximum quoted performance. But it is the level of performance I was expecting.
