Upgraded a HP system that came with 8GB of RAM to 16GB so the computer can play more PC game titles. I went to Crucial to check for compatible RAM modules before looking for the additional memory for my system. I took out the one stick of 8GB that came with the system and installed these 2 sticks of 8 to make 16GB as I didnt want to have mismatched speed or frequencies. I probably could have bought just one 8GB and just added it to the system. However some systems do better when the memory modules are of identical brand and specs.

says 288 pin ram but i received 204 pin ram. Applied for replacement.

I built my own PC and needed some ram, u have 4 slots , so I only bought this one for now until I get more money, runs great with only one .
