I got this for my wifes new Windows 11 Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15IAU7 that had 8 GB of RAM. I watched some YouTubes to see how to open the laptop and decided to order a five dollar set of plastic pry tools. In the end, I had to use my fingernails more than the tools to get the back off. You would think after taking 10 screws out they would not have such tenacious clips, but prying the back off took 20 minutes. Anyway, once I was in, I disconnected the battery lead, removed the metal cover to the RAM slot, inserted the memory module, pushed it down into the snap clips, slid the metal cover back on the RAM, reconnected the battery, snapped the back of the laptop on, put back all the screws and powered it back up. It came up and now shows 24 MB RAM. It has been running for a week with no issues. I am extremely happy.

I bought this on the Black Friday sale. Popped right in with no problems. System immediately recognized it. No memory problems were encountered. I did make my swap file 64GB to take advantage of the memory. I use a lot of high end digital video and photography editing applications and this works great for that.

Took advantage of Prime Day deal to upgrade my music production laptop. Recognized right away. This is my fifth use of crucial RAM in recent years. Knock on wood, never had a hiccup.

For the price of this RAM and it’s ease of install I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their computer.
