This was purchased mainly for the song that he sings. O Solo Mio has soothed our grandson since he was 6 wks. old and when I heard about this animated dog that sings it, well, I had to get it for him. Our grandson is now 1 yr. old and it still stops him in his tracks where ever he is. He calms down, sings along with the toy, and sways back and forth to the music while singing ( in his own way). We named the dog Sal who has now become a permanent fixture in our house. Our grandson will look for him when he gets to our home. As soon as he finds him, he will call out O Sal. We press the button on the foot and the dog starts singing and our grandson starts dancing. It is so cute to watch and it has never gotten old for him. He loves it today just as much as when he first got it months ago. Thanks for such a wonderful toy.

O Sole Mio sounds good; but Its Now or Never is awful. The singing is at a faster tempo and is out of sync with the instrumental especially the drums -making listening rather painful. Unfortunately I only collected the item 30 days after delivery and am unable to return or exchange it.

Every time that the music came, on the dog started howling, very funny. Good gift for someone special This is my second musical toy.

I first saw this little dog on a cruise ship that we sailed on from Venice. When I went back to the gift shop to purchase it, the dog was sold out. I was so disappointed. I did a search for it on the Internet when I returned home and found it here, on Amazon.com. What was even better is that the dog cost almost half of what it did on the ship!

There isnt enough space to tell you how affordable this is! Everyone will laugh and want to hear again. The facial expressions alone are worth the price!

I bought 3 for my nieces and nephews for Easter. I usually buy whatever is new at Hallmark (like this years Tweety Bird) but have found that most of what I buy locally is duplicated. This year I looked on the Internet and found this singing Gondolier dog by searching for musical Italian plush. I have to see, this is the BEST gift I have ever found. The kids loved it and the parents couldnt stop laughing. The mouth movement is synchronized to the song. I loved it so much I am buying 3 more to keep on hand as gifts for down the road. I HIGHLY recommend this cute little singing dog!!!!!

Gondolomio is quite an animated character! The whole family likes him, especially nanny, me, because of his Italian singing! My granddaughter can even pronounce his name. Hes unique and a prize for any little person as well as big!
