Finding the right filter for the correct unit sometimes buying brand name is best option. These filters have 2 months life span, depending ones water usage, also have found these filters can be replaced at 3 months, by my experience, which I havent had with a off brand filter.

These 5 micron 10 filters were just to be used as replacements in the water conditioner I have, which I need to change every 6 months. The were for the post-conditioner side; the pre-conditioner side uses 10 micron 20 filters, which I already had on hand. They are not the spun fiber type of filter, and are exactly what I needed. I felt confident buying the Culligan brand, as there are a lot of cheap knock offs out there. They are slightly more expensive, but when divided by six, the difference is minimal, especially considering these six filters should last me three years.
