I use a tool bag daily for work. I perceived the CLC brand to be good. This bag is not well engineered or construced. The shoulder strap is too long. I am 59 and cannot make the strap short enough to reach tools while the bag is on my shoulder. The shoulder pad on the strap was not sewn correctly. The inside of the pad was not stitched and is falling apart since the first time I wore it. The plastic container is a nice size, but I. Unable to latch and unlatch it easily. Other than that, the bag is fine ......

This bag is perfect for those that need to carry all their hand tools as well as a few battery tools in the center. Stays sturdy and stands well even after overloaded with about 40lbs of tools.

I havent ever been disappointed by a CLC bag and this is no exception. Works great for coax and ethernet cable work.

This is a great general purpose tool bag. I keep this in my coat closet along with just about every tool I need for doing things around the house. The plastic compartment box thing in the bottom works out great for small hex bits or other random things like that where you would normally have to carry around lots of cases with those accessories in them. If that last sentence didnt make sense, I apologize. Some terminology is escaping me right now while Im writing this. Anyway, just know that youll be able to really organize your tools well with this bag.

Good electricians bag, shoulder strap needs stronger swivel hooks, they failed after 3 months, otherwise good tool bag. I wish they would make the leather bag again!!

I took a long time looking around for the right tool carrier for my new wood turning hobby and this electricians tote turned out to be exactly what I needed. Because I started off turning wooden pens and lots of small parts are required, the storage tray tray hidden in the base of the bag comes in very handy for keeping bushings, brass tubes, spare parts, etc. organized and readily available. Plenty of pockets, zippered compartments, nooks and crannies are very satisfying if youre the kind of guy who likes to keep your stuff conveniently located as well as portable. Besides loving this tool carrier, I am writing this review because there is a tip I want to share that has to do with the condition the item arrived in when Amazon shipped it. Youll notice in the pictures of this tool carrier the handle flaps stand straight up and down. They are in fact pretty rigid and designed to stand up out of the way of the storage on either sides of the tote. Unfortunately, when mine arrived it had been packed in a box that required the handle flaps to be pushed down to one side. As a consequence, the flaps would not stand up even when I loaded the bag up and suspended it over night in an effort to get them to straighten out. This may not seem like a big issue but I found with the flaps bent to one side, I was having a hard time getting to items stored on that side of the carrier. After a few weeks of this and nearly on the verge of deciding to return the tote, I came up with a solution. I figured there had to be some kind of a plastic insert inside those flaps keeping them rigid so if I could heat them up a little I might be able to straighten them out. I took a small hair dryer my girlfriend leaves at my house and used this to warm up the flaps while the bag was suspended. I moved the hair dryer around a lot to keep from burning the canvas covering and I worked on both sides of each flap alternating back and forth. After about 5 minutes of this the annoying curvature in the flaps relaxed and my tool carrier now looks like the one in the picture. I left the carrier hanging up overnight and there hasnt been any relapse into the bent position. Go ahead and order this nifty tool carrier if you think it will suit your needs and if you run into the same problem I did just pull out a hair dryer and in 5 minutes or so, it will be like you bought it off the shelf at your local hardware store.

I ordered this for a home tool kit. Its got plenty of storage and I loaded all the tools I use around the house including drills, socket wrenches, hammers, etc. It stores more easily than a standard tool bag and is much easier to find things. Like the organizing side pocket with plastic case. Good value for the purpose.

Was really hoping it had the plastic container on the bottom. But I bought if any way. I just put it in the garage till I absolutely need to use it. Either than that I’ll keep using the old one I have with the tray on the bottom.

I love this bag, fits my basic everyday tools fine and has room for more. Good size to it, beats a big bulky bag! I’m sure this bag will sag in the future, another style clc bag I had sagged after a year of rough work. I continued to use it for another year and a half though with no problems.

Large enough to hold all of your hand tools. I work as an electrician so I need many tools this is perfect to pack in and out not too big but large enough to hold all your tools. I have had many other brands over the years they are good but they’re a lot more expensive. I highly recommend this for day-to-day use on the job site or as a honeydew and hobbyist at home.
