Greater than one weekI tried the above stabilizer products and a few of the 40 spools of thread as soon as I received them and they work well. It was a pleasant surprise to receive several spool nets so thread wont spin off the spool too quickly during use. *** The only thing I havent figured out, is where on the thread spool does the tail of the thread fasten into, so that it wont ravel off the spool while not in use? There does not appear to be a small slit anywhere along the edge, nor an extra lip for the thread tail to wrap into. I hope I dont end up with a 40 spools unraveling while stored on my spool rack.

> 3 dayThis stabilizer would work really great for something light weight that didn’t need a strong backing. I embroider on babylock machines mostly with minky fabric and this just isn’t enough to hold up for that, I ended up trying three sheets under one project and it still puckered but didn’t ruin the design. I think for the money it would be super if I didn’t have to use so much for one design!

> 3 dayPros: nothing Cons: *it makes your needle so sticky that it rips your thread. Youll have to wipe your needles down with alcohol several times per project. *its stability is inconsistent, so one ft stretches more/less than the next *You think youre saving money by buying this, but youre wasting it because youll ruin so many projects. Ive been using it for a year and its ruined many of my projects. UPDATE: local hobby shop only had 40wt sew-in stabilizer for sewing, not embroidery. However, it works far better than this. I used to wipe the sticky residue off my needle 4 or 5 times per project, now its still not sticky after 5 projects with the sew-in stabilizer. So in conclusion, go to your local craft store. Its cheaper and works better. I dont run an embroidery business, so I dont care about having the absolute best, but you likely dont either if youre looking at this product.

> 3 dayLove the precut stabilizer, fits my 4 x 4 hoop perfectly. Less waste than the yardage and a nice time saver.
