Cutting metal, it’s thicker than I would like and wears out unevenly. To be fair I’ve only used one disc so far, but if the others are the same I won’t reorder.

I typically buy my cutoff discs from Harbor Freight. 10-packs can be purchased on sale for $7.99 or less. I decided to give they discs a try in spite of other users complaining about exploding discs. After a month of use, I can say that Ive not had any discs explode (care in not binding when using a cutoff wheel is important) but I quickly discovered that they dont last very long. I wasnt sure to what degree because I didnt have anything to compare to since all of my HF discs were used up. I recently picked up a 5-pack of HF discs for $3.99 and found that Im using roughly 2-3 of these discs for the same amount of cutting as one HF disc. With these discs pricing out at around $.43/disc, compared to HF at $.85/disc, the value just isnt there. Especially when you have to stop twice as much to change discs. Plus the edge starts to look really ragged once they get down to half size.

Works as they should, same quality as brand name.

I found this product to be as durable as the the others Ive been getting at the welding stores, but made my mind up for this product was price, they are 5 to 6 times cheaper than the welding stores !
