Va genial, se me había roto un 3Com que tenía desde hace 15 años (también 8 puertos Gigabit) y este ha sido el sustituto perfecto.

For a non-techy it isn’t clear which ports to use for which type of equipment. Most things from China tend to have sketcky instructions. Seemsto work just fine.

Da ich mit verschiedenen Übertragungsgeschwindigkeiten im Netzwerk arbeite, hatte ich mit meinem vorhergehenden Switch oftmals Probleme mit 1Gb/sec. D-Link DGS passt sich immer den maximal möglichen Geschwindigkeiten optimal an. Auch treten keine Datenbankfehler an geöffneten Datenbanken im Netzwerk auf.

If your modem has a built-in router but only one Ethernet port, a switch is the answer. After plugging in a modem, computer, TV, and ATA VOIP phone adapter, - all came online, ready to go almost immediately. The internet connection speedtested just as fast (7mbps) with the switch vs plugged directly to the modem. The lights let one know if your device is connected at 1 gbps - or less, and if there is traffic. The case is cool to the touch. I could get by with a five port fast (100 mbps) switch, but it was at a great price. For this setup, it is either overkill or future-proofing.
