I bought these for my finished walk-out basement, which has a musty smell, especially after heavy rains. The package comes with three units, all three of which I hung around different areas of my basement, all at the same time. They are absolutely a no-brainer to use, you just remove the outer plastic wrap and hang them up somewhere using the attached hanger (which is like a plastic clothes hanger). At first, they have a rather strong perfumed scent, but it dissipates after 1-3 days. The clear bag at the bottom gradually fills with water as the charcoal bag above draws moisture from the air. Theres a line on the clear bag that tells you when the DampRid bag is full and needs to be discarded. I bought this on July 17 and by Aug 23 was approximately 4/5-full, so they last at least a month, maybe longer, depending on how much moisture is in the space. My basement also smells less musty with these hanging around. Would recommend.

I live in an apartment and the bedroom walk in closet holds a lot of moisture when it rains so bad so i don’t use the closet for anything that can’t be put in totes or plastic. I purchased some of these and the superficial issue is fixed. It captures all the water (the bag fills up) and my closet no longer has that musty odor!

I live in dry Arizona. Hung these in my RV. Amazed at how good they work. Part-time traveler and even worked when not using RV. Hung one in bath area, one in the bedroom (to help keep moisture from mattress) and one in the living/kitchen area. Fantastic results. Definitely consider using when you winterize and/or store your ride for the Season.

Works great

I live in Florida with central air. These hanging dehumidifiers are essential for all your closets. They last about 6 weeks - so in my opinion, they are somewhat reasonable for the 3 pack. Mold is unacceptable. I usually buy LINEN yet, when it was unavailable- I bought the Lavender. It was a very nice change. Hopefully, the cost will go down (try a big box store).
