I bought this as a gift for someone who appreciates premium products which are value for money. This is a great buy, built to last, as they say.

I mean... its an umbrella. But a REALLY good umbrella. It definitely keeps you dry, and makes you look like youre the chauffeur if you have any passengers (people who own an umbrella like this dont hold it themselves, obviously.)

This is a good umbrella--it may well be a great umbrella. large, windproof--exceeds specs for the job. Up there well in range of classic British models but made in New York. Looks good too! I wanted something expensive enough that I would be disinclined to lose it or forget it--this certainly is. The price tag is certainly on the high side, however, its definitely the best Umbrella Ive ever owned.

i took the umbrella out of box, and the metal silver tip at the end of the umbrella fell off. is this supposed to happen? there is no note in the packaging that states this. im trying to find out if this is normal before i return it. and why does it fall off? if i can put my own rubber tip at the end of the umbrella, then where can i buy the rubber tip? this should be stated in the packaging.

Silver tip fell off before even using it. ? Really? At this cost?

Very well made. Very sturdy and nice looking. Pricey but worth it with the warranty.
