> 24 hourOK, I got cheap and put 1/2 inch Drive belts on my riding mower. Three Years later I couldnt figure out why I had slippage on the variable speed pulley, I had 1/2 inch belts. That was the problem. I put on the OEM type belt and no more slippage. Thank You , Very much.

> 24 hourHad to come back and edit this after using for two months and it no longer working. Troy-bilt pony 42 deck with the variable drive (two belts that speed is controlled with belt tension kind of like a go cart clutch). The blue covering material is gone off of this belt, now showing a sticky black material, mower slows to a crawl on the slightest hill and struggles to get up it. Once back on flat ground it takes right off. Would not recommend this belt, going back to standard MTD belt. Initial $4 savings cost me $26 in the long run. Live and learn

> 24 hourVery tight fit but works great. Had to take the transmission pulley off to get the old belt and the new belt on

> 24 hourWhen you feel you don’t have the power to climb that incline your belt is probably stretched. Replace it watch a you tube video if you have to you will have whiplash with new belt and can climb a tree. You don’t have to be a mechanic to change just a pair of pliers and some sockets.
