This little dude was the perfect addition to our bathroom after we gave it a face lift and went with an octopus theme. Very sturdy, even with installing it into plaster walls. It seems to be genuine cast iron, and the best part is the tentacles holding the toilet paper roll extend out far enough to fit the jumbo size toilet paper rolls we buy.
