> 3 daylove how you can turn the lights off on this dehumidifier so it doesn’t keep you up at night. Also love the low fan option for a quieter setting.

> 3 dayI love this little humidifier but now that I’ve had it for a few weeks, I’ve realized it’s not strong enough even for my very small bathroom. I wish I had purchased the larger one. Just be aware of that. Update: Customer Service contacted me and they were super professional about everything. They addressed my concerns and offered me a full refund. I decided not to go with that but they are sending me the bigger one instead free of charge. Very happy with this experience. Wish more companies were like this. Thank you so much!

Greater than one weekWorks great just as expected. Usually last 2 or 3 days before having to empty the water tank. Great bang for your buck.

Greater than one weekI live in Southern California, so I cannot write this review in terms of how well it helps with the humidity of the desert air. However, I steam clean my apartment carpet once a month and it takes a minimum of two full days to even see the carpet BEGIN to dry. The complete drying process must take somewhere between 4-6 days (depending on the weather, how often I step into the room to grab something, if I have the window open and using the AC, etc, etc). I started to look for a dehumidifier to help speed up the drying process. I absolutely hate waiting for the carpet to dry because I cant walk across it for hours at a time, and mold began to develop in the carpet (I can smell the moldiness develop = which is not good for my respiratory health). Previously Ive already tried opening up the windows, using a fan, using the AC and none of them really helped dry the carpet. It was just a wet mess. Oh my goodness. I just steam cleaned the carpet this weekend, excited to use the dehumidifier. Now I cant wait to write a review on it. I steam cleaned my carpet in the morning around 8 - 9 am. I turned on the dehumidifier and left a rotating fan on (the fan that rotates side to side). By the afternoon (I couldnt believe it) the carpet was already 40-50% dried! Something I would have had to wait for a full day to pass. By 4-6 pm, the carpet was 90% dried (with some partially moist patches here and there). The dehumidifier must have pulled like 3 cm of water? Barely anything BUT the thing really help speed up the drying process in about 12 hours. Again, I cant say if it helped with the humidity in the air but it definitely helped with my carpet drying process (which is the real reason why I bought the dehumidifier in the first place). I am looking forward to steam cleaning my carpet next month! **The room that I used the dehumidifier in is about 100 square feet.

> 3 dayI needed a dehumidifier for a smaller area that is quiet and reliable. So far this seems to be a good choice. Would recommend.

> 3 dayGeneral Thoughts Received the unit back on July 26, of this year, so at time of writing, Ive had this for 2 months pretty much. Overall this dehumidifier gets its job done as it advertises -- I keep it in my owners suite and it has helped yank moisture out of the air from the connected bathroom. Its a cleanly designed unit that is easy to operate. Its helped deal with some of the heat and humidity in the southern US, especially since I didnt have a whole-home dehumidifier to start. Pros: - Dual-speed for quiet mode is nice. - Light can be turned off, otherwise its a nice little RGB-ish glow. - Simple buttons - Water container is large enough to not need emptying so frequently. - Auto-stop for emptying is very obvious (flashing red lights) Cons: (These are more-so nit-picks) - No persistence with settings. Every time you turn it on you have to press the other buttons to switch off the light or enter low-noise mode. - Lack of a switch (versus a one-press button) means you cant plug it into a smart home plug to turn it on/off remotely if you desire.

> 3 dayI had a small flood in a utility closet. Afterwards, some areas of the concrete were not drying. I also had concerns about mildew so I needed a dehumidifier. This one by Makayla was right for the size. After setting it up, the concrete dried very quickly. Ive left it running pretty much non-stop ever since (a few months) and there havent been any functional problems. And admittedly, I get a kick out of those lights reflecting through the water. Good night light for the utility closet. My only real issue with the product is that it makes a terrible ruckus when it is first turned on after emptying a full tank of water. This did not occur the very first time it was used. Regardless of which mode you use, theres a loud whirring type of mechanical whine. So far, the sound has always gone back to normal after a few minutes. Except for this start-up issue, both modes sound fine and dont bother me. Although there were instructions not to mention this, I received a post card in the mail asking me to write a five star review. It also said that if I had any issue with the product, I should e-mail them first. I told them about the whine and got this response: Hello, If you have any questions during the use of your machine, you can contact our official email at any time After you give a 5-star review, we will send you the corresponding gift card code For being shady, Ive left three stars instead of four.

> 3 dayI bought this product because my room tends to get stuffy easily when the door is closed, and it causes condensation at night around the window and leads to excess moisture causing mold to form. From my use so far, it has been very effective in making the room less humid, and also makes it a bit more comfortable because it feels less stuffy as a result. This device is quite effective in getting moisture out of the air and removing the liquid from the reservoir is quite a simple process as well, as it doesn’t leak or drip anywhere. The design of the product looks very sleek as well, and it has been very effective in removing moisture from the air. I would recommend this product for any people who use their room with the door closed for extended periods.
