> 3 dayThis monitor appears to be a damn good deal after approximately one month of use. The picture is crisp, clear, and sharp. The overall quality seems to be exceptional. And the value for the money is better than I expected. I reserve the right to revisit the durability rating in the next few months as one month isnt enough time to fully know how the monitor will stand up. My gut instinct says its going to be okay, but you ever can tell. Overall, I highly recommend this monitor.

19-11-2024I mainly use Dual Monitors for work. I mostly use Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I would say these monitors are a B - at best for what I do... I was hoping for far better clarity. They are an improvement over my previous monitors which were about five years old, and they work for my needs, but they are not outstanding. My sons state they are OK for gaming. I am not interested in gaming, just easy reading on the eyes, 10 - 12 hours a day...

> 3 dayIts a budget IPS 1080p monitor from Dell, so you basically know what youre getting. I was able to push it to 75hz, and it seems to handle it fine. Image is of the OSD showing that the monitor is running at 75hz. Response time seems okay at the higher frame rate. The OSD has a Response time overdrive option, but I think I prefer the normal option to fast. From 10 seconds of moving the cursor around the fast option looked a little too blurry. Didnt do too much testing with gaming but everything looked okay once vsync was enabled, without it the tearing was pretty bad. I set the sharpening to 0, everything else looked over-sharpened to me. The OSD has nice on screen guides pointing out where the buttons are, which makes it easier to navigate the menu. Im personally used to a VA panel so the colors dont look quite as saturated, but the downside of those monitors is slow response time which can make text/objects look smeary when scrolling/moving, so theres reasons to prefer an IPS panel. The pixel density of a 1080 27 panel means that at my viewing distance of about 30 things look a little pixel-y, optimum viewing distance assuming 20/20 vision for this display is about 40 inches. That was my fault for not measuring my normal viewing distance and selecting resolution based on that. I may end up returning this and getting a 1440p VA panel, but for a secondary display it might not be worth the extra price. Price point wise I think this is a great deal. They normally sit at about $150-60 but I got mine at $129.99 so if you track the price and buy when it goes on sale you can save a bit. Summary: Pros +Decent IPS panel +Overclockable to 75hz +Cheap +Nice OSD +Thin bezels Cons -Cheapo stand w/ no height adjust -No VESA mount so you are stuck with stand -Only HDMI and VGA, no DP -Big 1080p panel so might not be good for people who sit close to their desk

> 3 dayI had 2 of these and needed another one. Only issue I had was one arrive with a crack in the LCD, which Amazon promptly resolved. Otherwise they are good quality panels and have good contrast. Dont think you can go wrong with these if you need a 27 monitor

> 3 dayThe monitor is great. The only thing I think it needs is another HDMI input, other than that it’s great. Two HDMI inputs as opposed as one HDMI and one VGA would make this monitor almost the perfect buy.

> 3 dayNo complaints except one. I love this monitor. It is very nice and works great with my Linux system and NVIDIA graphics card. Colors are stunning and txt is clear and crisp. My only suggestion would be to move the on/off button to the front panel, otherwise no issues.

Greater than one weekSo this is yet another item I’ve purchased to help me through this pandemic. For several months I’ve been using my work laptop to sit and do telehealth all day. Getting a monitor this size is a game changer, all of a sudden I’m sitting upright and not hunched over a small screen. I’m not squinting trying to read small print on a tiny laptop. A great investment. I’ve always trusted Dell.

> 3 dayI had re-arranged my computer desk, and I realized I had room to upgrade my 6 year old 21 monitor. After reading a bunch of reviews, I decided on this Dell 27 (I ordered a Displayport to HDMI converter cord as well). Monitor arrived on time and well packed in a box in a box. I put the stand together in seconds and had everything hooked up in a couple of minutes...very easy! I powered up the monitor, and after a select language prompt, I powered up my 2 year old HP computer. Everything worked perfectly the first time! No bad pixels, and the display is very nice... especially for the price. I keep my studio dark, so I ended up turning the brightness way down to 5%, and the contrast up to 80%. I also adjusted my fonts a bit since I have so much screen space now... MUCH easier on the eyes! Im super happy at this point...Ill update if there are any problems in the future. All in all, its a beautiful monitor, it was a painless setup, and I highly recommend it! Merry Christmas to me! Have a good day!

Greater than one weekMy sole reason for buying this was I needed an extra screen for working from home. This fits that role perfectly. No extra frills, no gaming RGB lights, no super high refresh rate, average contrast, 1080p monitor, purely for having an extra screen while I work from home. If you just need the extra monitor space, I cant recommend this enough. Great budget option to fit that need. If youre looking for gaming or video editing, stay far away. You need to look at the $400 and up range (at least)
