> 24 hourBought from a different distributer because of a sale. First laptop had weird hardware glitches such as one half of the screen being darker than the other and flickering. Mouse pad would randomly stop working. Also CPU intensive programs might blue screen the laptop when you leave them on idle for too long but you probably shouldnt do that anyway. I returned the first laptop and got my current one and the problems persisted. Despite this Ive held onto the laptop because of its power, speed, and storage space. Tech support wasnt much help but at least the warranty would let me return it if I needed too. I let my warranty expire which is probably a bad move on my part but the hardware problems have pretty much gone away and never hindered the functionality of the machine itself. The battery life isnt that bad as long as you keep in mind when you can get to outlets. It charges pretty fast and its good for about 4 or so hours of consistent use on one charge. More if youre just doing basic tasks but if youre buying this youre probably going to either use it for games, music production, or 3-D modeling. Which is what I use it for. And Ive never had any problems on that front. Its nice and durable. The rubberized finish on top wont get scuffed any worse than any other laptop. Takes stickers well. It has two hard-drives. Use them. The SSD isnt that big and things auto download to there. Do yourself a favor and take the extra five seconds to actually save things to the 1TB hard disc. Keeping the SSD clean makes sure the programs you actually want to launch from there are fast and all the things you dont use are organized. Also for some reason when I use the HDMI to connect it to a TV and try to use a streaming service it doesnt work. I just use Chromecast now. Its faster anyway. Its like a car where all the money was put into the engine and they kind of didnt care about the rest. So if you need something rugged and powerful this is it. It can take a beating and itll be really strong. But itll hit small snags inside itself every now and then that will make you hit the side of it trying to shake it loose. So far it fixes itself with a restart or with a bit of time. If you buy it you should just keep re-upping the warranty if youre planning on buying it and concerned.

> 24 hourWeight is heavy especially if you are a mobile person and may want to carry it to work or class. The speed is awesome. Easy to set up. Colour is lovely. will recommend getting a cover as dirt from your fingers may stain the top and leave grease marks. Really pretty colour. Some reason while Im using it, it may freeze on me. Still investigating as to why this is happening.

> 24 hourI received the PC today and immediately started to get it configured. Throughout the entire configuration process, and the windows update process, the PC constantly put advertising popups on the screen. There is no way to avoid creating a Microsoft account and they are not shy about telling you that they will be tracking your behavior. None of this has anything to do with the PC itself. I suspect that ALL new PCs have this annoying issue. Once configured, you can find and remove the software apps that are responsible for all the advertising. As for the PC itself, its fast. It seems to be as fast as some of my tower machines, but it is much faster than the PC it is replacing. Dont expect to get a lot of battery life out of it, though. Battery life is not important to me anyway. In using the PC, the one very distasteful item is the touch pad. It is so sensitive that its very difficult to get the pointer to stay where you want it. Consequently, I was constantly making choices that I didnt intend, simply because the pointer moved before I could touch the left button under the pad. So, if you buy one of these, invest in a separate mouse and disable that touch pad. The PC comes with Office 365, which means you are tied to Microsoft forever at their annual subscription rates. I dont plan to use Office 365, so this is not a big deal for me. However, I suspect that Microsoft will constantly be asking me to apply for a license.
