The unit charges just fine!

I used the model number off the charger that came with my laptop to search for a second. I found cheap ones and was not happy with the reviews so I stayed away from those. I bought this one because I was under the impression it was the same exact Dell one as my original. However, the cable is not the same. It has second piece to make it work with my computer. This leads me to believe that it is a generic charger that uses different end pieces to work for different computers. The only reason I gave it three stars is because it seems to work as well as my original.

I already have both a LA65NS2-01 and a HA65NS5-00 charge cord - see the first two pictures. I bought this charge cord because it said ...LA65NS2-01 Compatible with HA65NS5-00... Great! Those are the two charge cords I already have. When the new one arrived - picture #3 - the part that plugs into the computer was not the correct size. My two existing plugs were small, the new one was much larger and would not fit into the laptop. All the rest of the stats on the back of the box were the same - but it would not fit my laptop. If you cant trust the model number in the description and on the box itself, what do you trust? It obviously is going back. I am very disappointed and will never buy from this company again!

I needed a cord for my 4 year old dell laptop and was not able to buy a computer , thought I would try it it works well . Hope computer well last another few months
