> 3 dayI bought this as a replacement for the dell-provided charger. However, it just stopped working after 6 months. I have checked the cables for wear and proper seating and tried multiple different outlets. The charger does not provide current to the laptop anymore and the LED light at the charging tip does not light up. I have sent an email to the seller via the Amazon system requesting a refund and will update my review if I have positive action from them. However until then I cannot recommend this product or other products from this seller and would suggest paying extra for the Dell manufactured chargers instead. UPDATE: the seller contacted me and offered to send a replacement. Less than 24 hours turnaround! Will update further after I receive and test.

Greater than one weekThe seller is OK good price and punctual. The Dell power supply has a limited life.

> 3 dayI replaced three batteries in my laptop. None worked. Called DEll and used their battery but still problem. Used this charger and no more issue. Laptop charges and work fine. I guess lot of folks do not realise that it is the charger not the battery that is the problem most of the time. If you do not use the right charger or cheap charger you are going to have the same problem I have.

> 3 dayThis is not the first time Ive replaced the charger on my laptop. I decided to go with the more expensive charger hoping it would do better than the previous two that I have bought over the years. This time it lasted 7 months. None of the replacements Ive bought have lasted as long as the original but Dell doesnt seem to want to sell replacement cords-- only new replacement laptops. If spending $5 per month is okay with you, then paying $35 is an okay price; however, it might be more convenient if they were sold in a multi-pack so when one quits you could quickly replace it and carry on with your work.
