Like so many other reviewers, I bought this charger when the one that came with my Dell XPS stopped working. From March to August, the charger worked alright, but the plug for the cable kept slipping out of the transformer, and so I would have to re-attach it often. I ended up using my original transformer with the new cable, and was able to get it working. Six months later, I am literally sitting on the transformer (which now has masking tape to hold the cable in place and in a position that actually charges the computer) to keep it working. This is ridiculous.

Works fine with Dell XPS 15 7590

I bought two of these chargers so that I would have a backup. The first didnt last a month. The second two months. I called Dell and the person told me how to identify fake chargers. The coating is the first thing that stands out. These fakes have a dull flat finish whereas Dell has a glossy polished finish. I spent the money on getting a genuine Dell charger which was another $20 more than the fake chargers. It has worked fine for six months. Amazon should do something to stop people like this seller from selling fake products.

Heats up too hot while charging, dangerous

Powers my Dell XPS laptop but does not charge the battery. This means the center pin wire is faulty. Yes, the laptop battery and plug-in pin are good because my existing cable charges the battery fine (just need 2nd cable.) Yes, I matched the model#, watts and volts. Power cables shouldnt be this frustrating! Returned.

It did not work properly for the XPS 15

My computer keeps blinking with a yellow light, it’s been just 10 months since I bought this power charger. There is no way to directly contact the seller. So I’m giving one star.

Bought in January and now won’t even charge or hold a charge. Pin broke to easily. Stuck again trying to get a charger. Glad I have a USB-C on that works or I would be out for weeks waiting for a charger that actually works.

Came as promised. Brand new and original charger.
