> 3 dayThe monitor itself has been fine. If you purchase this item from a third party seller on Amazon, Dell will likely not honor the warranty. Even if you look up its service tag on Dells own site and it shows a 3 year warranty with 2.5 years remaining. Basically if you dont provide the address Dell shipped the monitor to, or it wasnt shipped to an authorized Dell reseller then they deem it ineligible. I have never had this issue before, having handled dozens of Dell warranty replacements. We typically have 1-2% of our Dell monitors that need warranty work. So if you have an issue past the sellers return period, youre out of luck. The large seller I purchased from offered a whopping $20 partial refund for a $250 monitor that is unusable after 5 months.

> 3 dayWith recent shift to telework, needed a large monitor for home to work with my MacBook Pro laptop. An excellent choice with good brightness and resolution. The height adjustment is nice and it does rotate for page view, though at 27 inches is of limited value to me. One note is that this does not come with an HDMI cable so consider ordering one if you dont already have an extra.

Greater than one weekThis monitor comes with a display port (DP) to display port wire. It does not come with an HDMI wire. Also, this monitor does not support daisy chaining by DP to other monitors. I am using this with a Dell docking station that only has 1 HDMI port and 1 Mini DP port. I have two of these monitors. One is plugged in to the HDMI slot and works fine. The one that was plugged into the Mini DP slot had problems where when the computer went to sleep, the monitor would flicker on and off repeatedly searching for a signal. This is a known issue with Dell. I switched to using a Mini DP to HDMI wire for the second monitor and now I dont have any problems. Conclusion--if you are going to get this monitor, plan to only connect it via HDMI to avoid any issues.

> 3 dayWorking from home more than being in the office I needed good quality monitors like I have at the office. These are good quality and allows me to see everything I am working on all at once since I purchased 2 of these. My husband liked them so much he had me purchase him some as well.

20-04-2025Took me a while to get used to it and adjust it, but it works very well. Just hoping it last as long as my last Samsung.

> 3 dayI bought this 1920x1080 (FHD) monitor for mostly text applications (Word documents and web pages) on Windows 10 based on the glowing reviews for document viewing. However I didnt like the pixelated/jagged edges of the fonts. Then I upgraded to a 2560x1440 (QHD) resolution monitor, and it made a day & night difference in text quality. The text is so much smoother at QHD resolution vs. this FHD resolution. When the text is smoother it is less straining to look at for a long time. Microsoft ClearType uses the extra resolution to smooth the fonts, and you can still keep the text at the same size as it would show on this monitor. On a QHD monitor the ideal setting is to set the Windows Display Scaling to 125% and you will have about the same size icons, web pages, task bar, etc. as this monitor with its scaling at 100% -- but with superior smoothing. The price difference is small to bump up to a QHD resolution monitor so I would highly recommend one of those instead.

> 3 dayIf you are gamer/serious computer user who spends more than 4-5 hours day then, this is not for you. But if you fall in the other category, then this is good for the price and great brand behind it.

23-04-2025Got this a couple weeks ago, and its been just what I wanted. Its bright, clear, and the response time is definitely good enough for the level of gaming I do (Im not a pro by any stretch). Overall, I would definitely buy this again. I didnt see this in any reviews or anything, and it doesnt matter for me in my use-case, but it does have vertical, rather than horizontal polarization. I discovered that by accident. Normally in my experience, you can see monitors if youre wearing polarized sunglasses, but if you tilt your head, they go black because the polarization then combines to block your view. On this monitor, the polarization is aligned by default so that you can only see if you tilt your head, if youre wearing sunglasses. That would only be important in a very few applications, and if you have no idea what Im talking about, dont worry about it because it doesnt apply to you.
