Dell P2419HC - LED Monitor - Full HD (1080P) - 24

This works great with my MacBook Pro for USB-C Charging.

Id been scouring the net looking for budget USB-C MacBook monitor and this was at the top of the recommendations on a number of list articles. Day one out of the box and there were hardly any problems—if any —setting up the monitor to work with my MacBook. It charges the laptop and provides video feedback as it says on the tin. I suspect Ill be updating this review should I be experiencing anything out of the ordinary. But it was a worthwhile purchase.

This monitor has great picture quality and has some thin bezels, but the best feature is USB-C connectivity. It is so convenient to just plug in my Macbook Pro with 1 USB-C cable and have the monitor, keyboard, mouse, and power all ready to go.

With this whole work from home thing I missed having my docking station at work. But i also do not like having wires everywhere. With this monitor I was able to plug my mouse USB dongle into and it picked up right away using the supplied USB-C cable. It also charges my mac book, so i just need to plug in the USB-C cable to my laptop. However you still need to have the monitor plugged into the wall.

I love these monitors, I wanted a simple solution, and these monitors fit the bill. I have them hooked up via USB-C to the laptop, then the second one is connected via DiaplayPort to the first monitor, and a USB to USB-C cable to have all the USB ports active and have a USB gigabit Ethernet adapter. I can easily plug my work laptop or personal laptop and have a dual monitor set with a single cable. This is a setup that you typically get when you get a docking station, but it is just a monitor.

The product I received was damaged and would not turn on. I had to return it. Afterwards, I did order the same product directly from Dell and it worked great.

If you want to make your cable management easier and you have a USB-C port on your machine absolutely go for it. The USB-C charges your MacBook and also serves as the display adaptor at the same time. The USB-C cable is included in the box. The ability to switch the screen between vertical and horizontal is also great.

Charges laptop, great image, simply works

This is a great monitor with a great stand. Its priced higher than other similar monitors, but the cost difference is probably all in the stand. The USB hub is nice too. With a good cable, the USB A ports power my pi3 well, and when I use it with my desktop, the extra usb ports are helpful there too. It has an HDMI in, and a display port in and out for daisy chaining. I wish it had two HDMI ports instead.
