> 3 dayBought this Dell monitor to replace a 24 Asus monitor I had initially ordered for my work desk at home. The Asus monitor often turned off randomly while I was working on it. I returned it and went for a tried and tested Dell monitor. Works perfectly well with my Macbook and Chromebook and my wifes Windows laptop, no issues so far. Picture quality is good for work, I had to reduce the default brightness to be able to work comfortably. I like the no frame design, makes it look very sleek and modern.

> 3 dayI was looking for a 24 inch monitor for my WFH setup and evaluated and compared several brands but this one stood out, mainly for 2 reasons - 1. Eye-friendly flicker free screen 2. Very small footprint - the stand takes up very little space on my table. Id say this feature beat out a couple of other very comparable monitors Other highlights (after 2 weeks of usage) - Vertical Viewing angle is adjustable (albeit to a small degree) - Super easy setup - was able to unbox, assemble and set it up in 10 minutes - No glare - The screen does not have a reflective surface. Also, the brightness can be sufficiently reduced to avoid stressing the eyes - Comes with a pretty long HDMI connector

> 3 dayHad to order a converter so I could use the supplied HDMI cable with my Dell PC Displayport. The PC didnt have a HDMI input.

19-11-2024I used the 27 inch at work and that is why I chose this monitor. I chose the 24 cuz my desk space at home is quite smaller. Perfect. Very happy with the 24. That said. I also wanted to keep my options open for a 2nd monitor. This space would never hold 2 27inch monitors. The HDMI included cable was a nice touch.

Greater than one weekI am a law student and this is perfect for me as all my classes are now online. Im used to a 13-inch macbook screen so this monitor feels giant. I love it!!

> 3 dayI bought this monitor in September 2020. Since then its been hooked up to the same computer and sitting on the same desk, in a clean, dry environment. Last week, it died. A little No HDMI signal from your device window popped up on the screen, and wouldnt go away even when I swapped out known-good HDMI cables and tested it with other computers. I contacted Dells tech support who were initially nice and helpful, but they eventually refused to replace it because its registered owner information didnt match up with mine (even though I bought it brand new from Amazon, and its serial number sticker said it was made in June 2020 so it couldnt possibly have gone through too many hands before it came to us). Amazon did me a solid: even though it was past the 30 day return window, because Dell was so terrible, Amazon offered to refund the purchase so I could replace it. I *definitely* wont be replacing it with another Dell monitor because that brand is dead to me now.

> 3 dayReally great basic monitor. Screen is nice and bright and text is crisp. I needed something for my home office as I’ve been staring at a 14” laptop for over a year now and doubt I’ll be back to office anytime soon with the Covid still being such a PITA.

> 3 dayThe picture is good quality and the monitor syncs well with my Macbook via an HDMI cord. But there are NO internal speakers and the box only had an HDMI cord, no VGA cord.

> 3 daySo, I picked up this monitor (SE2419HX) for a second monitor now that Im WFH permanently. Once I got it set up and turned on, I noticed that it wasnt as crisp as the other monitor I have (pretty much the same model, SE2419H). Then, soon as I went to adjust the sharpness, by first increasing it, it looked like garbage. Then soon as I turned it all the way down, it looks pretty good. Looked as sharp as the first one I got. Hopefully, this helps those on a Mac with a similar issue. On Windows, not sure if this will help you.
