Greater than one weekThis monitor with the build in USB C docking station and KVM switch works great for my purposes. I have a 7 year old HP Omen workstation laptop that only has HDMI video out and standard USB along with my work laptop which is a 3 month old HP ProBook with USB C docking port. Connected both laptops through this monitor with single mouse and keyboard and can switch between devices with no problem. Just had to figure out which USB port on the monitor needed to connect to the older HP Omen for mouse and keyboard since the documentation that comes with the device is very sparce. I my work office I have a 38 wide curved monitor connected to the HP ProBook connected through a Belkin dock that is recommended by HP and the setup is very flakey (That is technical jargon for the monitor doesnt always detect the video signal) This is not the case with this Dell monitor syncs right away and always remembers its settings. Very pleased with the functionality. I am a software programmer and primarily use Visual Studio and SSMS so my opinion on the video/graphic quality of this monitor is purely from the writing point of view. Im not a gamer.

> 3 dayAs a visualization artist, color is very important to me. I have tried 6 different monitors recently and IPS black displays have consistently come out on top as the best bang for the buck. If you have the money to afford a 4K mini led or oled monitor then by all means but these dell monitors having amazing image quality for the price. Having tried both the 27” and 32” version I can say the only difference was size and price. Although 4K on a 27” has greater ppi, the picture quality on the 32” was almost indistinguishable from the 27”. The 32” is however $300 more, so if you don’t need the extra space, go with the 27”. Both monitors us the LG IPS Black displays, so if you want panels with the exact same picture quality, you can buy LG’s version of the monitors for significantly cheaper. $650 vs $850 for the 32” version. What Dell does is buy the display, improves quality control and warranty, packages it better by making it frameless on 4 sides instead of 3, adds features like a built in hub, kvm etc, so if you need all those extra features then buy Dell but if you’re just looking for an IPS display with the same image quality, LG has alternatives for much cheaper.

> 3 dayI bought a new U3219 during the pandemic. I only used it for ~6 mo total b/c it is in a secondary location. Picture was great, until it developed dead pixels, then the whole screen went bad after 18 mo of ownership, just outside warranty.

Greater than one weekMake sure your order is being fulfilled and shipped by Amazon. Fantastic monitors (Ordered 2), they feature everything I was expecting. However, Big Box LLC sent me used monitors. Messages to the seller go unanswered, so Ill be returning them since I cant accept receiving used products when it was labeled as new, and especially at this price point, its unacceptable.

> 3 dayGood screen, but I also needed multiple inputs as advertised :P So it turns out you can’t use both the HDMI and Display Port inputs, it must be the USB-c first and then one of the others. So I had to find, buy, and wait for a bidirectional DP to USB-c adapter. Also, an intermittent and clunky input detection contributes to my persistent cable wrestlings.

> 3 dayHavent tried playing around the settings though but the default setup is already great for me and comes factory calibrated. I am looking for something which I can use for everyday coding and casual gaming. I first tried a widescreen s3422dwg VA monitor and my eyes suffered within just a day. Text crispness is something of utmost importance for me. So I decided to return the widescreen and get this one instead. This Dell monitor is a bit more expensive though but now both me and my eyes cant be happier enough although my wallet, on the other hand, gently weeps. But hey, this is worth every penny.

> 3 dayI was so excited to get two of these monitors as they came with high ratings. I also had two of their older monitors and was using them with a docking station. Having the docking station and kvm switch built in had me pretty excited for the reduced desk clutter and cables. Unfortunately, their monitors cannot be daisy chained (laptop USB-C to monitor 1, from DisplayPort out on monitor 1 to DisplayPort in on monitor 2). What ended up happening is my mac would only see one Dell monitor resulting in the display for both being mirrored. In order to use these I would also need to use my existing docking station and then wouldnt be able to utilize the KVM switch. Why waste all that money and not be able to utilize these monitors with their features? I may as well by two dumb monitors and use the docking station I have. I am returning these. I wish Dell would have built this capability into their docks.

Greater than one weekI was tired of text appearing fuzzy when I moved a window from the iMac Retina display to the monitor on the right. This solved that problem and kept the overall dimensions of the iMac and the Dell monitor similar. Very happy with the purchase.

> 3 dayGood picture, but not substantially better than the 32 IPS LG that is half the price. Started to flicker after only 3.5 months of use. Dell support was TERRIBLE. I very much regret this purchase.

> 3 dayI purchased this monitor back in November from Dell when if first came out. The picture quality was not as good as my slightly older LG 27 Inch Monitor. It was a bit more matte than I care for and also where they show it daisy chained to another dell, you have to have a Dell PC for that. My older LG is much more similar to my Macbook Pro in screen quality. I had it mounted to a monitor arm that I keep fairly tight. I went to move the monitor up a bit and had my thumbs on the screen. I apparently applied too much pressure (it wasnt much, I know because they this didnt happen to the other side) and a giant crack spidered across the screen. I know, my fault and I get it. However, you should know that I called Dell and was promptly informed that they do not offer screen repairs on monitors and that I would need to purchase another one.
