> 3 dayQuick and easy to set up. I’m using it for work. I can use it the same way I would use two screens and have wide spreadsheets to work on with ease.

> 3 dayGood picture, but not substantially better than the 32 IPS LG that is half the price. Started to flicker after only 3.5 months of use. Dell support was TERRIBLE. I very much regret this purchase.

> 3 dayIt’s a great monitor for office use. I mainly use mine for reading and writing code and the picture quality and color is great. It’s a great alternative to the over priced Apple studio monitor.

Greater than one weekWhile it is early days, this monitor does the job. My previous monitor was a Samsung 275T which was an outstanding performer for 15 years of mainly graphics and general office work. This panel only takes up slightly more desk space for a significantly larger screen. Time will tell but so far I am happy with the performance and appearance. Calibration is done at the factory and the results enclosed with the monitor. Colors are well saturated, contract is excellent, brightness at default (75%) settings is more than adequate. Ive not tried the hub I/O or the internal speakers which are low priority for me. If this monitor lasts half as long as my previous one, it will represent good value.

Greater than one weekI was tired of text appearing fuzzy when I moved a window from the iMac Retina display to the monitor on the right. This solved that problem and kept the overall dimensions of the iMac and the Dell monitor similar. Very happy with the purchase.

> 3 dayThis monitor replaced an 27 5K iMac as my primary work monitor. I needed to move from 2 computers into 1 and ended up getting a MacBook Pro and this monitor to replace an iMac and an older MacBook Pro. I would have preferred to get the 32 Apple monitor but I didnt have $5K to spend so this had to suffice. Still a relatively expensive monitor in my opinion. The good stuff; the screen size and resolution is fine enough for viewing at an arms distance on my desk. Its not quite as revealing as my 5K was, but everything looks good, including fine text, so I dont feel like I took a significant step backward on resolution for every day use. The thing has a TON of built-in ports and they all work great! I use almost all of them to connect my peripherals and devices. You forget how many you need until you get a new computer that doesnt have many ports (Apple) and then you feel relieved that you can plug everything you own into the monitor and the Mac sees it immediately! The bad stuff; the screen is matte and reflects sunlight more than my glossy iMac did. I was surprised by how much more sensitive this screen was by comparison. Definitely something to consider if you use the screen in a room with a lot of ambient light. On cloudy days and other times when the ambient light is low, the screen looks fantastic and is easy on my eyes. I also miss having built-in: mic, camera and speakers. I use my new Mac in clamshell mode and not having these basic audio and video functions on the monitor seems like a miss to me. This is not an el-cheopo monitor. My workaround is using my iPhone as the camera and mic and I plugged a small powered speaker into the line out port which works fine for every day sound but I would have preferred if the monitor had these items built-in so I didnt have to figure out the work-arounds. All in all, I would recommend this monitor. I think the pros outweigh the cons and until a more full-featured one comes along this is probably one of the best 32 monitors in the sub $1K price range.

10-06-2025Quite happy with this monitor. I bought it for the use of the USB-C hub and display. Its part of a utility desk and we can now plug in a laptop without having to bring a charger as well. The picture is quite good -- typical dell quality that I have experienced on other monitors. I have a GoogleTV connected as well for streaming. Its a good picture and it switches between them pretty seamlessly. However, I can see how people complain about the black levels. I would not suggest you buy this monitor for the HDR capabilities. One thing that I can confirm is that you cannot have high speed USB AND 4K 60Hz refresh rate over USB-C at the same time. You have to choose and 60Hz is the clear winner. For me that was OK because the other USB ports are being used for lower bandwidth items like web cam, key/mouse, and for a sound bar. No other real negatives that I have found. Solid construction and great picture.

> 3 dayBefore getting to my complaint, let me acknowledge that the image quality on this monitor is fantastic. Brilliantly sharp 4K resolution, great color, and plenty bright for the type of office/productivity things I do on a daily basis. Unfortunately, the KVM functionality was problematic. This was one of the big selling points for purchasing a monitor like this. I connected two computers, one of which was a laptop using the single USB-C with 90W of power delivery. I installed the drivers from Dells website, along with they Dell Display Manager 2.x software. It worked OK for about five minutes. But then it started registering USB devide not recognized errors when switching between computers. My USB devies (one of which was a keyboard) continued to work OK, but the Windows device manager showed an error saying Unknown USB Device (Invalid Device Descriptor). When I disconnected the two USB devices, the error would remain visible in the device manager until I removed the USB connection between the computer and screen itself. I called Dell support and they suggested I needed to install the proper device drivers. I confirmed that I had already done that, and the problem persisted after rebooting, and even after removing the Dell Display Manager software. For a while, everything was basically operational. The USB warnings were annoying, but they didnt keep me from working. That run came to an end and my keyboard would not function through the monitors KVM setup. At first the laptop continued working (with the single USB-C connection). At some point, the keyboard would no longer work with it either. The issue would come and go, seemingly at random as to which device (or both) was most problematic. Ended up returning the monitor and will try something else.

> 3 dayTheres a difference between IPS Glow and Light bleeds. Bezels can change how light bleeds from the edges and mine was pretty bad. I was disappointed to see this but it seems pretty common with Ultrasharp series as they use thinner bezels. I also have 3 x U2723QE that I purchased from Dell directly and I had to go through 2 replacements to receive ones that have minimal bleeds. I bought this 32 inch from Amazon because it is cheaper than buying it from Dell directly but Amazon wont let me do a replacements. I have to return this for full refund, so I am considering a different brand instead going back to this model.
