I didnt read the reviews on this until after we bought it. I was convinced we would be returning it as soon as it was delivered! But when we unboxed and hung it, we loved it!! I can only assume some people just received duds! Ours has no sharp edges and the rubber coated chain is super sturdy!! We bought this for our one year old grandson, and he kept leaning forward. This swing didnt even look like it was going to dump him out! He is about average size for his age and fits in this great! There is room for him to grow, but even with him wiggling, he cant slip out! We are extremely satisfied with this swing!!

This is a very dangerous swing. The metal that covers the seat on the sides is extremely sharp! It sliced my finger as I was taking out my child and it was a very deep cut I thought I might need stitches. I didn’t take a picture at the time because I was too busy trying to stop the bleeding. I’m just thankful it wasn’t my child who got cut. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not buy this for your children.

This swing is very good quality. Great that the chain is coated well.

I moved my two year old granddaughter from a baby swing to this unit because she is tall for her age and seemed to be growling out of the the other swing. This unit is slippery and she kept sliding forward in it. She did not feel secure and got scared so I had to take her out of it. I would not recommend this unit.
