I got these to hang a ladder in my garage, figuring I would find a use for the rest of the hooks later. Now, I’m kind of thinking I might need another pack. I almost always complain about the included anchors being trash, and this is no exception. However, if you’re hanging something in your garage then you should most certainly be aiming for studs in the first place (every 16”). But, in the off chance that you need an anchor, just do yourself a favor and get some real anchors from your local home improvement store. The hooks themselves are sturdy enough, and you get enough of them with this set to help you get started on organizing your messy garage. (No offense—I assume you garage is messy because you’re looking at reviews for organization hooks…)

I am quickly running out of storage space in our garage, so I am trying to hang a few more things up high on the walls. These storage hooks are great! The construction quality is top notch and very clean... no rough or sloppy welds. These hooks will hold a lot of weight. For everything you get, this is a very nice value.

I ordered this assortment of garage hooks because you always need to hang something in the garage. Photo 1 shows you what comes in the box. If you cant find a hook for what you want to hang I would be surprised. The directions inform you what screws and anchors you use for drywall vs. wood, brick. Be aware that the directions are in grams so youll have to convert grams to pounds if you want to understand how much the hook will hold in English weights, pounds and ounces. I used a 5/16 drill bit for wood and 3/16 bit for drywall for each anchor. Photo 2 shows the difference in the screws and anchors. Two on the left are for drywall while the other two are for wood, etc. Directions tell you to hammer the drywall anchor 1/3 of the way in and then use screwdriver the rest of the way. I had used this type of anchor before but never hammered it in. You can see what happened when I did in photo 3. For the drywall I started a pilot hole with a 3/16 drill bit and screwed the anchor in the rest of the way. I would definitely recommend these hangers.

I can never get enough such hooks, there’s always a need for more room for tools in the confined areas where they belong, in the garage and in the shed. These hooks help lift things off the floor and make good use of the walls (and ceiling, with the two hooks for such) and also keep in view tools that otherwise would get piled up and harder to locate when needed. Not to mention the aesthetic aspect: these will convince even the most skeptical of the significant others you’re serious about tiding up the tool-invaded space, if that helps. The hooks are well built and well covered in glossy paint which usually means the steel underneath is susceptible to rusting, any deep scratch in the paint must be addressed promptly. The flange attachments looks sturdy, spot welded in several points. I did not have any of these give in under the load in my use and I expect the wall anchors to give way rather than any of the flanges to separate from the hooks. These have the orange rubbery covering to protect whatever they hold, and this covering seems of good quality to withstand pressure and abrasion. The included collections of bolts and anchors are of good quality, I expect the bolts to be stainless steel but cannot tell yet. The only bad thing about these is their addictive nature, I’ll probably be back for more.

What I really like about this kit is the variety of hooks you get for a great price. Some of these hooks sell for $10 on their own in a big brand name store, and we got many hooks for not a lot higher price than that in this kit. They all feel to be high quality and will last probably as long as my house does. If I ever had need for more hooks, Id be purchasing this kit rather than an individual hook at a store again.

These are very well made. I have plans to redo my shed hangin tools in the spring these will clearly work great. 5-stars.

Sometimes its hard to find all the hooks you need in one package. Often times that leads to having a bunch of different looking hooks that you had to buy separately. Luckily you can find a majority of what you need with this set and they have nice color.

This hook set is simple to install, even in my metal building. It has a great variety of shapes and sizes of hooks. The anti-slip coating works. The hooks are sturdy. I was able to hang a variety of tools on it, including crowbars which can easily slip off other hook styles. I am very pleased with the set and think it would make a good gift to anyone with a shop or garage to organize.
