Derby Laces Rainbow Mirage Spark Shoelace for Shoes, Skates, Boots, Roller Derby, Hockey and Ice Skates

The original laces on my skates were too short, so I looked around and found these. Easier to tie tight because of the friction in the metallic coated fibers - as advertised. Too soon to comment on durability. The color is more pink and less silver than the picture shows. A bit pricey, but will be worth it if they hold up.

Got these earlier this week and only skated with them one practice.... One lace is already halfway frayed. Cant believe that theyll hold up past a second practice, wont even want to keep em on my skates to risk it. Too bad because they ARE really cute.

These laces are perfect for derby skates. Just make sure you figure out the correct length. If youre like me and get it wrong though, its an easy exchange!

Laces do not slip. Stay tied. Look great!

Loved the colour but it still kept slipping while my daughter skated.

Used these laces to dress up my slip on Chucks. They are so well made and provide a little glitz and extra touch of class. One lace was way too long for one shoe so I tied them off and the ends naturally frayed giving my sneakers a much needed facelift! Love them!

So far so good! I asked about the standard length on the page, but never heard back so I just bought the 54 ones. I wear a regular roller derby low-top boot, and theyre long enough to tie in a bow, but theyre not dangling all over the place. Theyre super sparkly and cute, and seem to really grip when tied. I havent noticed any loosening while I skate.
