Purchased it after reading online reviews about product from people with Locs and I must say I am impressed. I have not noticed any buildup, my Locs are soft and feel conditioned. The downside is that there is no scent. A small hint of oatmeal or cocoa butter for scent would make this product even better.

The only shampoo that has left my 4c locs feeling soft and moist, rather than brittle and vulnerable. I can’t wait to see how this benefits my hair over time.

Smells amazing, too bad the bottle was leaking when it arrived. Once I took the saran wrap off I also discovered the pump was broken. I’ve seen several other reviews saying this as well but figured I would order anyways. My mistake!

This stuff is my new hair crack along with the DE conditioner! I have honestly, in my life time come across a shampoo that cleansed my scalp and hair the way the formula has. I have tried many, and I do mean MANY different shampoos and conditions for my 4c hair and never has my hair reacted in a more moisturized way then it did with DE. I bought this shampoo to use to clean locs. Right after rinsing my hair I noticed the difference. My hair and was so clean and bright without being dry and dull. I followed up, using the Honey Cream moisturizer... Honey, my hair way melting with joy. I ended with the Rosemary and mint conditioner.

I love Design Essentials products. This shampoo smells amazing and gets my hair clean. I pair it with the rosemary mint conditioner. I’m pleased with how it makes my hair feel.

Cleaned my dreadloc well and leaves them smelling fresh. I would definitely purchase again.
