I used this for one trip and secured the two zippers with an airline lock. When my bag arrived the two zipper pulls were gone yet the teeth were still attached. I had to pull apart the zipper in order to get to my things but then couldnt close the suitcase again. The zipper just pulled right out. No other damage so it obviously didnt take much force to pull the zipper-pulls out. The warranty is absolutely useless because they require tons of information to even consider a claim. It was a waste of money for me since it lasted only one trip. My other 10 year old Atlantic luggage survived just fine. Here is a portion of email I received from the company that makes these which itemizes what you need in order to file a claim:

Did some international traveling going through 3 different airports. This suitcase held up well. Only a little stripping from the piping at the corners. The color is a pretty light purple ( not lavender) that stands out on the carousel from other purple suitcases. The wheels made for smooth maneuvering. Only con was my zipper was sticking so I have to be mindful whenever I use it. So far so good.

I love Lucas bags, I bought this one because of my first Lucas bag purchase. I noticed that my previous Lucas bag fabric is very different (thick and very durable), This one is slightly lighter than my previous one, but I never minded the weight in my first bag (it is still a very light bag).

This suit wase is perfect. Our last name is Lucas so its even monogramed for us :)

Ive only used it on one trip so far, but Im very happy with it.

The first time I used this suitcase, the zipper became completely detached from the suitcase. I had to buy a new suitcase for my return home. I brought the defective case back with me as it was covered under a warranty, but it seems the company that issues the warranty is non-existent. Its impossible to submit a claim online. No one answer phone or responds to emails. No customer service.

Sadly the Lucas does not hold up. Light weight, yes, but the first trip the fabric was ripped.

It is difficult to push like if th wheel has been broken at the first use in the airport

Cheap made falling apart when received it returned it for full money back

Needed a very light suitcase and this one solves the problem nicely!
