The pens are nice got 245 but not all pens are retractable 47 pens were the ones with tops and 3 retractable were broken the description said all pens were retractable also should find a better way to pack them

I love pens, so liked the idea of getting a bunch to try out and give away. Liked alot of the pens in the pic, sadly it is a gamble and of course i did not get any from the photos. Only came with 3 types of pens so not alot of variety in my bunch. 2 are on the cheaper side but still decent pens. The other one was pretty cool. I have only found a few broken pens in the box so far. Overall i still think its a decent value for giveaway pens but if your picky about your pens better going without the gamble of what youll end up with.

I work as a bartender and servers are always stealing our pens from behind the bar. The other bartenders were stoked when I brought this box in. So far all of the pens write REALLY nicely and my coworkers love all the different kinds of pens in the box. Some of the pens feel kind of flimsy but for the value we dont mind.

Bought this to play a prank on a coworker by leaving a few more pens on how desk every day. He still hasnt noticed. Its hilarious. Most if the pens are very basic ball point pens. There were a few jems in there. Some that had a stylus on it. One was a flashlight, Jewelers screwdriver, stylus and both red and black pens. There was a bit of a fight over that one. Unfortunately, there were a few broken ones. Not a big deal.

At my office we go through a lot of pens so I bought a box and they were great. Since they were for internal use no one cared what was on them. So when it came time to purchase more pens I bought a second box. Not so happy with this lot. Had to toss many of the pens because they just didnt write like the ink had dried up. The second box of pens had no writing on them where the first box you could tell the printing on them had messed up. Long and the short of it is.... buying a box of random pens is like a box of chocolate, never know what you are going to get!

We ended up with 290 working clicky pens, all brand new! I took them to my senior assisted living facility for my staff members to use... They were all so excited to have extra pens around the place!

I work in a restaurant and bought these since we are constantly losing pens. They are rejects that have misprints on them and some of them are oddly shaped, but I havent run into the problem of any of them not working. If you want attractive pens, I wouldnt suggest these, but if you just need some writing utensils, these are great.

Not all the pens in the box worked, but the number that did out of a 5 LB box was in the low 90%, so a good purchase!

All the pens write well and last long. Ill definitely buy them again. As a teacher, students go through pens like crazy, and this allows me to provide for my students. Ill never buy a box a pens from the stores again. Love amazon, love this company.

Amazing. I bought these for an office that constantly is running out of pens. Now there are so many it will take months even if they are all wasted, to run out. They work fine -- and who reads the fine print anyway. At about $.09 per pen - who can beat it. After the success of my first box, I bought a second.
