> 3 dayI am very prone to getting blisters on hikes and I heard that Merino wool socks help. I done 18 miles in these socks and not a blister in sight. They also didnt slip on the heels. Well worth the $$. They wash well too.

> 3 daythey are a bit stretchy and fit a bit bigger than a smartwool of the same size. May be an issue for agressive hiking where the shoe might tend to slip.

Greater than one weekLove these socks! I found these a couple of years ago. Every since I was a kid when winter came I always had cold feet. Didnt seem to matter what I did. Bought these a couple of years ago before going to Alaska. MY FEET STAYED WARM. They are soft and not itchy. Just recently bought another set!

> 3 dayThis are comfortable and fit well. Not too snug and not loose at all. After having another set of wool socks, I do not recommend warm or hot water for washing and I do not want to put them in heat dry. I will only wash them in cold water and pull them out before I dry anything else. They may end up fitting, but they will probably shrink and fit a bit too snug. I dont have any reason to know that they will definitely shrink, but Im not taking any chances.

> 3 dayGot those for fishing trip. It was around 34f (0-1C) and after spending some hours on boat with those + regular socks underneath and no chemical foot warmers I couldnt feel my feet. They didnt get frostbitten ona plus side but it took 15 minutes to stat feeling them again in a car. Next time I got two of those simultaneously and it worked well, I went into snow and my boots basically stayed dry as there was no heat escaping. Another fishing trip with two of those went pretty ok. Overall I wouldnt wear them if it was like 0f and youre going ice fishing - youll need something warmer, but for spring/fall not too cold winter they are adequate.

Greater than one weekThese are quite a bit thicker than I expected. I’d wear these in the winter, but probably not any other time.

> 3 dayHubby has bought these three times. He says they are the only socks that keep his sweaty feet dry and keep him from developing athletes foot with normal wear. He uses them with a sock liner when planning on extended wear or in summer heat and changes them at least once a day during that time. He wears them year round although he initially thought they would be to warm for summer time wear. Even wears them with Crocs and around the house as slippers. They fit well also. Tried the People Socks brand and complained that the fit was too tight around the calf for extended daily wear. Also, these are one of the few socks that autistic son with sweaty feet will keep on when not wearing shoes indoors in the winter time. We have not noticed any smell with any of the 3 orders. They may not be the ideal socks for those who are serious backcountry hikers but they work well for daily wear, day hiking, hunting and weekend camping trips. He orders a new pack at least once a year because he wears them daily and they do wear out as expected with that kind of use. Not sure why the poor reviews from some folks. We will continue to buy these.

> 3 dayI spent 3 years as an infantryman in the harsh winters of Germany. These are really good for the quality, in the end no sock is going to keep your feet completely warm even with these and winters water proof boots. Eventually your feet will get cold unless you also have foot warmers. I’ve had these for like 2 years and washed them regularly . Still no holes and they are pretty thick. For the price they are a deal. I would even go on to say they are better than Darn tuffs and you get 3 pairs for less the price of one. It’s worth it . The pair I got 3 years ago where great . Just ordered some 2022 March and they are now so thin they arnt worth a dam. They skimped on material so now they are so thin wind just breaths threw them. Disappointing they should have just kept making them the same way.
