I have ordered another set and we will see if they are also okay. They are warm enough that I can wear my sneakers in the cold without a problem and they are soft and comfortable. They do shrink some, but so far not to much and usually if I run my hand through them before I put them away they fit fine.

These socks are great for cold nights camping in the open, but they are a bit bulky if you are looking to go ultra-light.

These were bigger and much thicker than described. Still kept them for wearing around the house in winter. I like the comfort.

These are my winter socks as they are a little thicker than the ones I wear in the summer. They are not hot at all. I even wear them to play golf in the summer. These socks are boot style and fit halfway up the calf. Perfect for winter.

I bought these socks to keep my feed warm in bed and have never worn them any other time. They are comfortable, fit well and nicely cushioned. They definitely have kept my feet warm. My only complaint is that they started to pill a lot right away. They are covered in rather large wool balls so I would never wear them other than in bed.
