Was somewhat hesitant about getting this caliper but it feels and works great. And for what I have check it seems to be right on.

Came with a dead battery so I put one that came with it and it turned on, great. Except it doesnt measure anything, when you move the jaws it either stays at 0 or shoot up to something crazy like 643 inches. The zero function is also useless. It is junk no not buy, spend your money on a good set of calipers, dont cheap out on precision.

I am a weekend woodworker & purchased this digital caliper after my General Tool caliper finally got me frustrated to the point of chucking it.

The caliper exceeded my expectations.

really good for measuring stuff for the car, like rotor thickness, brake pad thickness, hose diameters, tread depth, screw and nut sizes, etc. accurate product, returns to zero everytime, nifty fraction display, so useful...wish id gotten one of these years ago!

Mostly use the metric function, but handy to have standard and fraction too.

Knowing that the manufacturer/seller indicated these are intended for home/office use, I took them to work and put them through the punches with depth standards. I used 1-2 inch standards and to my surprise every standards reading was spot on to the thousandths. For 20.00 you cant as for a better product.

I liked the simplicity and accuracy of this tool. I can see by the build of this unit it probably wouldnt be accurate enough for a pro but for general home usage, I think it is fine. The plastic case is great for storage but would probably fail with daily use of the unit.
