Im surprised at how high quality this caliper is for the price. Under $20 I wasnt expecting much and was only needing this for one specific job that I needed same-day delivery on...but this is actually going in my daily tool bag now. Its pretty weighty, very accurate, and holds calibration well.

heavy, all metal. reads in mm, inch, and fractions. Very handy for identifying allen wrenches and drill bits.

I wanted to up grade to an electronic digital caliper. Ive been using one of the plastic General dial caliper for years. And that has worked for my needs - but I wanted something a bit more precise like this digital model. One thing that I didnt consider is how heavy a metal one was compared to one made out of plastic. The extra weight makes for taking measurements a bit challenging.

Wanted an occasional use unit. This one worked fine for a bit then the on/off button stuck so it is now useless. Zero customer support so overall this unit costs $80/hr.

I bought this because I needed a digital caliper that displays fractions. Decimals and millimeters are fine but fractions are easier for me to understand. The tool itself is made of stainless steel, heavy, and ruggedly built. The caliper came with a storage box to keep it stored safely so that it doesnt get damaged by other tools in my tool box. Ive used it for a few days and find that its accuracy is far better than I expected.

I have never seen a digital caliper that has fractions before. (Yes, Im easily impressed) But when mine got stolen I saw this and had to have it even though I was I had my doubts. I measured several drill bits and every single one gave the exact size. Im impressed! And it came with a 2032 battery in it and two spares. Very much worth it!
