> 3 dayThe tool is easy to read but adjustment using the knurled knob is not user friendly. It wobbles and does not feel comfortable. Once adjusted it seems to work just fine.

> 3 dayI have had at least one other digital caliper some years ago from HF and wasnt too much impressed and when it quit working correctly bought a dial caliper but that one broke when I dropped in on the floor and never seemed to work correctly thereafter. I like that it gives measurements in mm and inches and even fractions so I dont have to do the math in my head to figure out what fraction measurement I am looking at and can easily convert those pesky mm into thousands of an inch. The caliper starts working when you open the caliper and automatically turns off after non use. It is a plus that it comes with extra batteries. In order to make sure I didnt loose the extra batteries I put some thin double sided tape on the back of the battery pack so they would stay in the case until I need them. Very nice set of calipers.

Greater than one weekI like everything about the caliper. Seems well made, comes with a sturdy storage case. I use it out in my shop for projects and for my laser setups.

> 3 dayI lost my previous caliper. I was contemplating getting another Harbor Freight one as it had served me well for my needs for years. But, I decided to check Amazon to see what they had. I was impressed with the offerings and finally settled on this one. It claimed Stainless steel and it is. The whole thing is stainless steel. The HF one was partial plastic. Any way, for about the same price as the HF offering, I got this one which seemed be of higher quality components and skipped the 50 mile drive to my nearest HF. After initial inspection and testing, I am impressed and very happy with my purchase. It is much heavier than the old half plastic HF. I tested it on a 5mm allen wrench it it came out to 4.98MM. For my home/personal use, that is well within acceptability and could be more of a factor of the allen wrench being 2/100ths of a MM out of specs. If I need more accuracy than that, I would have opted for one the $100 plus professional calipers. As long as it lasts, I will be very happy with this. It came with TWO spare batteries along with the one in the caliper. Kinda nice touch. Oh, and the case it comes in is a very solid and quality feeling case as well.

> 3 dayThese calipers are stainless steel , easy to read, and come with a durable plastic case. Unless youre a rocket scientist, these should be more than adequate for most users needs. To top it all off, the price is more than reasonable.
