Greater than one weekon time, as described, I would buy from this merchant again. Very easy to read, accurate, and even came with a spare set of batteries, a mini-screwdriver tool to open battery compartment, and a nice case that holds everything.

> 3 dayI needed a digital caliper for a design project and works great, very sturdy. I like the fact that you can quickly change the measurement to mm/ inch/ fraction so as not to look up in a conversion chart. Its a little heavier than a simple caliper since its digital. Comes with extra batteries and hard case as well. I recommend this product!

> 3 dayBought this about a year ago. The battery died. The battery cover cant be removed without destroying the unit. The instructions on how to replace the battery are very poor as well. The cover swings open on a pivot, it does not slide off. Either way, it doesnt open.

> 3 dayI havent had it long so I can not say how long it will last but I did notice that it does not always zero properly, it is not too far off but it is sometimes .0005 to .001 off which is ok for some things but not as good as name brand calipers would be but this aint name brand priced either. The one thing that I really dont like but did not notice before purchasing is that the first two digits after the decimal place are large while the rest are small. to read in thousands of an inch this makes it more difficult if you are used to normal pair of calipers or digital readout. Im guessing that this is meant more for using in metric than imperial (inches). If you need reading glasses the smaller numbers are difficult to read without them. Other than that they are fairly smooth traveling and look to be decent quality for the price. I am used to using Mitutoyo, Brown and Sharp and Starrett calipers but bought these because my employees do not respect tools properly and keep breaking them otherwise if you are buying it for personal use and use them often I would recommend spending more and getting better quality calipers.

> 3 dayI have a cheap Mac tools plastic dial caliper that only reads in thousands of an Inch which is fine but the jaw faces never fit flat against each other. I bought this because it was not plastic and read in 3 different readings.
