I had hoped that it would also cover the paper roll extension on the back of the printer but it does not. It fits the main body of the printer very snugly but if you have the roller attached to the rear of your R3000 as I did, youll have to remove the roller brackets & paper roll to allow the dustcover to fit.

What harm can a little dust do?
By the time you see that fine layer of dust on top of your printer, you can be certain at least 3 times that amount of dust has been sucked in thru the vents and holes outside, settling into its internal components that are used to run the printer.
