Well made and nice looking but too expensive for the few times that I will play a 45 RPM record

O.k. so this isnt anything complicated. A bit of weight painted black. You would think it would be easy to get it right but not so. I have had two of these arrive and both have had defects in the finish (white spots, paint peeling, etc.). I would look for an alternative.

This adapter fits my turntable nicely, and the added weight does not appear to have affected the speed of the platter at all. Definitely worth it.
