> 3 dayIm not like a frisbee connoisseur but this is as good or better than any other Ive ever used. It flies straight and FAR even for someone who isnt the best at throwing a frisbee (me). I bought two - one for the dog and one not for the dog. My dog absolutely LOVES IT. The orange color is bright and catches her attention is easily and the frisbee is holding up very well considering she is catching and carrying it in her teeth... shes a big chewer and hasnt been able to do too much damage to this. Recommend for anyone with an athletic dog or would be a perfect Kan Jam replacement frisbee as well.

> 3 dayThe weight and size is great. Bright orange is a great color. Flies well and feels like it can hold up to a little damage.

> 3 dayFlys great and is the standard for ultimate frisbee, what’s not to like. If you’re learning how to throw, the rim shape and size on the ultra star is perfect, and the weight is great for long distance and control in windy conditions.

> 3 dayGreat frisbee, but frisbee was black and white instead of red, blue, and white. Description does mention colors may vary.

> 3 dayIf you’re getting the glow disc to play night games then you’re out of luck it won’t hold a glow. But the disc itself is perfect for ultimate frisbee. I love discraft discs.

> 3 dayMe and my friend use this frisbee on his birthday, and his dog ate it in the first throw other than that best frisbee ever

> 3 dayI was born and raised in a beach town and the Frisbee was a big part of it all. I never even looked to see what else was on the market. The only other flying disks Ive ever thrown were the hard small golf disks or the free ones you get as a promotional item. Until two weeks ago. Then the Discraft Ultra Star was introduced to me at a picnic. At first I thought it was just about the same. Same size. Same weight. Same bendable plastic. Same feel on the grip. Same basic shape. But what it did differently surprised me. It didnt jump up and down vertically. If youve ever flown a Frisbee then youll know how it drops and lifts when it hits the breeze. Well the Discraft doesnt do that. Its all in the design, the Frisbee is more domed and therefore floats a bit more all the while being less stable in flight. I love the way the Ultra Star flies. It is a work of art. Ill never go back to the old standby. And its less expensive. I snagged up the red one. Looks great and its very easy to see. Highly recommended

> 3 dayThis plate was a fill-in for an old and tired yellow frisbee that bit the dust one sorrowful afternoon. See, our frisbees dont play frisbee. Oh, no. Frisbee is for the weak. The unintiatied. Real frisbees play Frennis, the great and terrible sport of worth-provingness. If you are unfamiliar with Frennis, its probably because youve never met a frisbee thats lived to tell about it. Well, friends, let me introduce you to the Discraft 175 gram Ultra Star Sport Disc, Bright Orange. This wicked contender was first brought into the Frennis arena three months ago. Oh, you should have seen it. It was beautiful, sailing valiantly over the net, reflecting blinding sunlight back at the Frennis masters. It was so bright that sometimes it would not be caught, crashing violently onto the hard court. But it never faultered. It never wavered. It sailed sure and strong, every time. As time went on, it grew more daring, sometimes even hooking to a ninety degree angle and diving as fast as it could toward the clay. It landed with a crash, the sound of plastic striking stone, so many times. So many times. Its a wonder it lives to play on. And the accuracy! Never has there been a disc that flies so true! It should be noted here that it is usual for plates that choose to engage in Frennisly activities to last about a month. That this plate has lasted three months (and, by the look of it, should keep on much longer) is itself impressive. But to look at it! Sure, the plastic is nicked and worn. Sure, you can tell its been up to no good. But the wear does not betray the heights from which it has fallen, the landings, brutal and at uncomfortable angles. If this champion of sport can survive three months of Frennis, surely it can endure the simple pains of frisbee and Ultimate. But to commit it as such is criminal. Think first of the pride of your frisbee before purchasing. This plate is worthy only of Frennis. - - - - - - - - - Edit 6/3/2015: This frisbee (or, for our case, Frennis plate) has taken a great deal of abuse over the past year. Were talking falls from ~100ft onto asphalt and concrete. Its still in one piece and still flies true. Our last frisbee shattered to pieces after just a few such falls. It lasted about two months. This frisbee is a real winner.

> 3 dayiv played Frisbee for about 5 years now! and iv used a lot of Frisbee! and by far this Frisbee is the best for new users learning to catch and pass the frissbee! VERY soft and doesnt hurt when catching or getting hit as much as a ultimate kind! a little flippy when getting the hang of it but before long you will be making smooth passes to ever long or short range! highly recommend this to anyone who wants to learn! i have learned that you will need to replace it ever 6 months or soo but for 10 bucks thats a killer deal!!! (ASLO SUPER good at trick shots! thanks! amazonnnnnnnnnn!
