Broke the first day at the tip, was able to take it apart and fix it, but they could have made it a little stronger at that point knowing kids were using it.

We purchased this as part of an adult costume so I cant really speak on the durability as it wasnt used as a toy. I would say that as far as sturdiness, it probably wouldnt last long with regular play. Its a cool toy though and really brings an outfit together. Its small in comparison to an adult, but would be the perfect size for a child. We were overall happy with the purchase.

I agree the lights look weird. You can clearly see the individual lights in the hook, but my four year old doesnt seem to mind. Hes not gentle with it and its held up well for over a month now.
