Dye was not already in the bottle like the instructions stated and the color was not as labeled; brown was orange and red was pink, etc. Also, the quantity if each color produced was so small we ran out while making the shirts!

I searched for a long time for a perfect tie dye kit and I think I discovered it! Not only are there a large variety of colors, but they’re not tacky loud colors. There are pastels and uncommon colors like “olive”. I tie dyed about 60 different items. Great investment!

The instructions are great. I made several t shirts. If you follow the directions, they really do look amazing! I finished by soaking my shirts in a vinegar and water solution for a while before rinsing and then washing the first time. As the directions state, cotton takes the colors best. The size of the squeeze bottles for each color are small, probably enough for two to three shirts if you are also using other colors. For two adult shirts and two kids shirts I went through about 8-10 of the colors diluted as instructed. I have lots of other colors left for future projects! The colors I used were the brightest I could find in the pack. It was a bit difficult to make out the exact color matches, it it worked out fine. The little funnel to put the die in the squeeze bottles was very helpful so I didn’t spill any, just make sure the funnel is dry, as a tip. If you don’t use cotton, the colors will come out much more faded, but that can be cool too!

Loved the color selections and produced great results on the project. On the downside the bottles are fairly small and a bit tedious to fill. The process would go much faster if the powder was already in the bottles. You have to label the bottles on your own and then use a small funnel to get the powder in the bottle. Because of the small bottle size, each one only lasted for one shirt. If doing a kids project or only one or two shirts, this is great.

The kit included many wonderful colors. The set up can take time which is understandable with so many colors. The plastic table covers and gloves included were helpful.

Overall a great product and value for the price. I wish it the instructions would have been more detailed, but we figured it out.
