Greater than one weekI bought the blue version of this bag for my daughter when she entered 1st grade. She is now in 4th grade and using the same bag. Not only has it held up well, it STILL looks brand new! Even after 3-1/2 years of going back and forth to school and doubling as a carry-on in planes, there is not one frayed thread or any sign of wear at all. The most Ive done to clean is it run a wet cloth over it at the end of the school year. Food has spilled in it but hasnt caused stains or odor. Its one of those things that you look back on fondly as being a great investment. The simple design makes it timeless and appealing to all ages. I wouldnt be surprised if it lasts through her middle school years. Ill be leaving another glowing review when it does!

> 3 dayThis bag so far has proven durable and sturdy. It has carried numerous school books as well as my laptop and has traveled quite a bit with me. No true wear and tear as of yet. My biggest problem with this bag is absolutely no outside pocket and minimal amounts of pockets under the flap. While it does have a decent amount of space in the flap, I like certain items to be more easily accessible than others, thus leads to my four star review, otherwise I would definitely give it a five as this bag has withstood a ample amount of abuse and will go on to tell the tale.

> 3 dayThis Medium DJ messenger bag is constructed of somewhat thicker cordura nylon material than the Brooklyn Industries bag it supplanted, but is consequently just a bit heavier when empty. It can trivially carry a laptop with a 14 screen in a padded case, and can with some care even carry two such laptops at the same time.

> 3 dayThis bag is nice and has great quality. I have been using it to carry my 14 inch dell e4300? (the heavy one with the biggest battery) for 3 years with no problem.

> 3 dayThe bag is spacious, durable, and attractive (for a bag). It would be very useful to have a handle strap in addition to the shoulder strap.

> 3 dayThe only reason this does not receive five stars is due to the lack of an internal zippered pouch for a writing instrument/phone/gum/etc. There IS a zippered section that is almost the full size of the bag, but it is external underneath the flap. A small pouch inside would have made this bag 100% perfect. I paid 12 dollars for this on amazonwarehouse but I would pay up to 40-50 for it. It is much larger than it seems. I can fit two college textbooks, three legal pads, and my finance calculator very comfortably. Pair this with the Manhattan Portage Large shoulder pad and you have an unbeatable setup.

> 3 dayThis medium bag is just wide enough to hold a 13 MacBook Pro. An Air would fit easily. Gray is good for a guy.

> 3 dayI bought one of these nearly 13 years ago to use as a college student. I abused this thing for two years while lugging it around full of heavy accounting textbooks. While it has seen much gentler use during the past 11 years, I still use it often. I also throw it in the washer on occasion, particularly if Ive spilled something on or, more likely, inside it. Unless you look at it closely, it still looks new and Im sure I have years of life left in this bag. It only has one compartment with a zipper, the rest being open but for the flap, and thats never been a problem for me personally. Thats the only reason I could see someone deducting even a single star from this bag so I thought I should at least mention it.
