Thick, leather-like material or aka PU leather. It is very easy to fit over the tire without any strings. Just make sure you check your tire size before purchasing. The adjusting is simple too and it fits snug without it flapping around or slipping off. Love this tire cover for my trailer.

Were using this on a 16 rim and spare tire. The fit is not tight but it is secure and well covered. We like it very much, especially for the great price.

Prompt shipment, good price, but after having installed on our new trailer, it didnt last the 200 mile trip to the lake before the vinyl was peeling off the front of the cover. Given its performance, I cant recommend
