> 24 hourI took 1 star off as it is NOT easy to get back into the carrying case, but not impossible. Just dont bother trying while its wet... its just not happening. Otherwise, this is a decent umbrella that has been optimized to take up the least amount of space possible. The real test will be when I take on vacation to Scotland this year... can it withstand Scottish winds and rain? Well see! I may have to update this review. If I never update it... it still stands at a 4-star rating. Is it worth roughly $20? No. Id say $8 would be a fair price. However, if the price doesnt matter and you just need probably the most compact umbrella possible, this will absolutely fit that bill.

> 24 hourI pulled this out of the hard-sided case and was super-impressed... then I tried to put it up and couldnt get it to lock in place, so I scrambled to find directions (none included), and dropped the star rating in my head down to two... then I found the little button on the underneath the canopy on the side at the top where you push it up to lock it into place and fell back in love with it. I just wish there were instructions so I wouldnt have momentarily been super disappointed. :) The umbrella itself is super small (just like in the picture) yet opens up to provide enough coverage for me. The ribbing seems sturdy enough as long as you arent fighting a windstorm, and the closing band is large to keep it all together. The case is a bonus, though the strap on the case is more like a ribbon. Overall, I love this little guy.

> 24 hourReally love how its cute and compact so its easy to carry around! Only issue is letting the umbrella dry before putting it back in. The case isnt really water resistant and leaked water through eventually

> 24 hourHeres my wifes thoughts on the Dlin travel sun umbrella: Pros: Nice color (more maize than beige) Lightweight Interior coating provides UV protection Handy carrying case Cons: Handle isn’t very long Manual open/close Handle feels cheap. Probably where this will eventually fail A bit difficult to get back into the handy carrying case Slightly above average price as compared to similar quality sunbrellas on Amazon While the cons list is longer than the pros, we still feel that this is an above-average sun umbrella. 4 stars.

> 24 hourFinally an actual mini umbrella, I have tried minis before but none ever being an actual mini umbrella compact and easy to carry and this one is perfect. Collapses to a mini size that fits in one hand. Comes with a carry case for storage if you would like. The only slight issue was learning to fold it back to fit back in its case for storage but after a little practice I was able to make it fit right into the case. Having this tiny umbrella in my purse is great for when I get caught out in the rain.

> 24 hourI bought this umbrella because I was replacing my lost mini sunshade umbrella I had for years. Things I do like about this umbrella are that 1) it is indeed a nice, mini/compact umbrella that you can easily pack and carry. 2) it has UV protection 3) it opens up to a decent size and coverage for one person. 4) The color is cute Things I feel that can be improved are 1) the hard case is not really realistic for use. Id much prefer a soft shell cover that I can quickly stuff the umbrella into after use, esp if it is wet. It takes way too much time and effort to fit this umbrella back in. 2) Its a bit difficult at times to open, namely to lock it into the fully open position. I cant imagine a child or perhaps an older person having to struggle to push it into that locked position. Ive tried it several times and I think it has to do with that release button getting stuck and needing to be shimmied a bit. 3) Its a bit of a pain after releasing the umbrella to get it closed fully into a neatly contained and tidy way with all the material and spokes. The velcro isnt sewn on in the most high quality fashion. I mean it still works, but I do like an umbrella that folds away nice and tidy without much fuss. Hope this helps!

> 24 hourWhen I opened it up I saw the manufacturer designed a breakthrough umbrella style. It folds and carries horizontal in the case. This is certainly the smallest mini umbrella I have ever owned yet it opens big enough to provide protection from the sun and rain. The horizontal carrying case with strap makes this truly a travel umbrella. You can just sling it onto your shoulder like a purse and go. Its small enough to fit in even a smaller sized purse. Getting it back into the carrying case was really no more difficult than getting virtually any mini umbrella back into its case and I was glad for the carrying strap. Its annoying to have an umbrella that opens when you try to carry it vertically or even by its strap. The green is a very pretty color. Not sure why they added camo type designs on the strap which is more like a wide ribbon. You could even use the carrying case to hold small items. A little pricey for an umbrella, but having it fold so small and not having to deal with umbrellas that open when you carry them vertically probably makes this umbrella worth the price.
