This is a pretty straightforward part, and it is quality made. There really isnt any adjusting to be done on this version, which makes it a breeze. 17mm socket for the nuts, 1/2 drive breaker bar and rachet, and a pair of locking pliers. The only difficult aspect of replacement (which has NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS BRAND) is that when you turn that locking nut up onto the threaded end of the ball joint, the joint spins, and you cant tighten the nut appropriately. The only thing I could come up with was to immobilize the ball joint with locking pliers, and then tighten the nut. Worked fine, did no apparent damage to the rubber covering for the ball joint, and only took maybe 2 minutes on a side to install. YMMV. My 2005 GX255 steers like brand new.

Unbolted the old one and this bolted right on, I was Leary about an after market part but this is working great
