This is ideal as a stroller to car seat transition. That part is definitely well thought out and made. The trouble lies in everything else. There aren’t any accessories that can really stay on the Doona unless you’re exclusively using it as a stroller. Changing it into the car seat forces you to remove all accessories each time. The accessories and making do with storage is also a pain - there’s no such thing as a baby who doesn’t need a bazillion things to pack (diapers, wipes, change of clothes, etc). Because the stroller is lightweight (this is handy for pushing/as a car seat) any accessories start to make it top heavy and then you run the risk of tipping the stroller.

Amazing brand and stroller had to return my purchase but only because I preferred different color. Love it!

My daughter and her husband love this thing. So easy to use. They take it everywhere. Worth the cost at any price.

My baby is 5 months old and weighs about 17 lbs. It is heavy to lift up into car. But overall, love it.

We bought this when our first was 7 months old. We basically assumed it was heavy. Frankly, its extremely light for what it is. Also, you can basically roll it to the edge of a sedan and then fold it while sliding it in, so you dont even have to lift it at all. If youre putting it in an SUV, its not as straightforward, but you still gain valuable seconds getting in and out of the Uber. We dont own a car so we immediately sold the base for $100 when we got it. We used it until our daughter grew out of it at 18 months and are now using it for our second (8 months old). Hell probably fit into it until hes at least 12 months. Weve just had such an amazingly positive experience with this carseat/stroller and recommend it to everyone who doesnt own a car.
