> 3 dayI actually got this for my toddler who likes to run outside when Im not near the door. After running through the neighborhood half-dressed in a towel dripping wet from a partial shower a time or two I figured it was time to find something that could stop him. It works amazing and the peace of mind it brings knowing no ones getting in either is great! We have installed it in two different homes now and have not had a single problem with it at all!

> 3 dayI read the other reviews and complaints about the screws that are included in the kit, and decided to get my own star headed 3 screws. I like mine better than what comes in the kit. I ended up replacing all of the screws in my door hinges (as shown in the photo, a 2 yr old could kick in my door), and used them for this Door Bull too. It fits well against the door, and there is no slack, its snug, and easy to slide in and out of the groove. For a little more security, its worth getting one of these, especially if you dont use your front door very often. However, if theres a power outage, and you dont have a battery backup on your garage door opener, then you are not going to get in your own house through the front door if this is in place. Common sense, sure....but theres always somebody that will forget.

> 3 dayThe Door Bulls innovative design, robust construction and highly secure installation method inspire plenty of confidence. Considering the massive reinforcement it provides, it even looks fine when in use. Its also very quick and easy to remove in the event of an emergency evacuation. Other reviewers have raised questions about installation-hardware quality. We bought two Door Bulls at the same time, and found the included drill bit worked superbly; the first bit was still sharp after installing both units, and weve saved it and the unused second bit for further use. We did have issues with stripping heads on the long phillips screws, however, using two different manual screwdrivers. Applying WD-40 to the threads before installation helped somewhat. Its also possible that using a cordless screwdriver, which might reduce wobbling while more quickly driving in these very long screws, would prevent gouging up the head slots. Im not sure screw quality is actually the issue here; the last inch just takes a lot of torque. That said, were extremely pleased with this product, and highly recommend it for personal security on all exterior doors when at home, for rendering secondary entrances impassable when away from home, and possibly as an added layer of security on an interior door for a bedroom or other safe room.

> 3 dayLets face it locks are for honest people and if someone wants to get in your house they will. What your really trying to do is buy time and this device will do that. I have glass on either side of my door which looks great but makes it easy for any would be theft. This device installed above the dead bolt and regular lock will add the additional problems for anyone tryng to jam the door open. The extra long screws to use in the hinges is also a great idea. Bottom line easy to install, very sturdy, if your looking for added security you found it.

> 3 dayGreat Product! Makes me feel secure and safe! Of course I installed it on a SOLID wood door… not a multi pane glass door (now that would be silly, wouldn’t it?) And I’ve already told my family if they know I’m in the house and I’m not answering calls and have been MIA and this is keeping them from getting in my house, They have my permission to break a window to gain access. LOL

> 3 dayI am so please with my purchase of the Door Bull ( tried a less expensive unit first, had a hinge to clamp down on the door, no matter how I adjusted it, the door always pushed it open.) I decided to invest in the Door Bull, and I’m more than satisfied. It was easy to install to the door frame. Then, when I added the piece that blocks the door, I was jumping for joy! The Door Bull is stronger than my door lock and dead bolt. I live in a condo, with a main door and common hallway for residents. I never felt safe, until I had the Door Bull installed. This has been the single best investment I’ve made in my new condo of only a few months. Thank you to the creators.

> 3 dayTook me around 5 to 10 min to install (recommend to watch youtube video). Excellent design, light weight, and very sturdy. Comes with all the required hardware and drill bit. 10X efficient than the dead bolt. Fell much safer. Very happy with the purchase.

> 3 dayFor as much as you pay you would think they would include decent screws not chinese made screws. My one screw completed striped halfway screwed in and after geting the others in I now cant get them out to cut off or remove the stripped screw. Other than that it seems like it will work well. I probably would have given it 5 stars but I now have to go the the store and get something to remove the stripped screw and I cant shut my door. Yes I drilled the holes completely the length of the screw so that is not the problem. It was easy to install but I gave it one.
